A field of nine will contest the 1 mile 70 yards distance of Race 6 at Parx. Post time is scheduled for 2:25 PM ET.

Elusive Jester (5-2) opens as the early favorite off a good closing effort wearing blinkers for the first time in a state bred allowance last time out at Penn. He’ll be making his second start for trainer Brandon Kulp after being claimed for $16,000 two back.

Jamie Ness, who leads all trainers since January 1 with 177 wins from 529 starts at Parx, will send out second choice Mr. Tuttle (3-1). The 3-year-old Pennsylvania bred son of Fairbanks will be the likely pacesetter and has been inching closer for a repeat trip to the winner’s circle after scoring his maiden victory in his first outing after the claim by Ness. If speed and the lead are faring well through the first five races on the card, Mr. Tuttle will be tough.

Secret Path will make his second start for trainer Louis Linder who leads all other trainers at Parx with 54 wins. Third in his last start, he raced wide and weakened against tougher in an OC25K and will benefit from the drop in class today.
