Breaking Lucky broke his maiden at Woodbine in his second try before capturing his first stakes victory in the 2015 Prince of Wales Stakes defeating Shaman Ghost in the non-graded stakes and the second leg of the Canadian Triple Crown.

Breaking Lucky won his first graded stakes in the Grade 3 Seagram’s Cup at Woodbine in August of ’16 before a fourth place finish in the G1 Woodward at Saratoga behind Shaman Ghost that day.

In his follow up to the Woodward Breaking Lucky was a distant 8th in the Lukas Classic at Churhill Downs behind Noble Bird.

He returned to finish second to Gun Runner next time out in the Clark Handicap at Churchill Downs and ahead of Shaman Ghost.
